Revd Joy Halder is the current Presbyter in-charge, of St. James’ Church, Kashmere Gate, Delhi. He is serving in the Diocese of Delhi, Church of North India (CNI), as an ordained Presbyter and has ministered in various churches in the Diocese. He competed his theological education, from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune.
He was ordained in The Diocese of Delhi in 1992.
Before joining St James’ Church he was at O. P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat .
He has worked in various capacities as Rector/Administrator at St. Paul’s School Darjeeling, West Bengal. As Chaplain / Asst. Master at Bishop Cotton School-Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
Worked as an Executive Assistant for Living Bibles India, Living Literature Centre in Neeti Bagh, New Delhi for a brief period before joining the Seminary.
He served as Associate Presbyter of Christ Church, Shimla,,Diocese of Calcutta, Diocese of Eastern Himalayas, Diocese of Amritsar, Shimla, officiated as Associate Presbyter in Charge of Christ Church, Shimla.

Recognitions:
- 2017 was invited to China by the Government of China to visit Education Institutions in Nanjing and Shanghai and sign a MOU with the University of Shanghai
- 2018 was felicitated and appreciated for ‘Extraordinary Contribution To Society’ during the SAARC Law Conclave On Legal Education And Practice, April 2018.
- 2018 was felicitated in the House of Commons, London for St. Paul’s School, Darjeeling
